New Alfa Romeo Giulia is better known for its sporty cars than off-roading machines, but all this is changing as the Italian brand in the SUV preparation. Alfa Romeo, owned by Fiat has had trouble getting a foothold in the European market, and they come back to the North American market in 2013. Success in the U.S. is a life and death, the Italian automaker that has not released a new car in the U.S. in 16 years.

Hopefully a whole new direction and future of the new model revitalize the brand, which is no longer a niche models like the GT, Brera and Spider, to help them build self-volume manufacturer. The so-called C-SUV will have strong competition from the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, which is a long-term and SUV markets.

Alfa has been dependent on the new 2012 Alfa Romeo Giulia in Bristol, and a brand new Giulietta to generate sales, but the current 159-series has been replaced by the new Giulia region in 2013. The new five-door Mito and 4C sports car is also designed to release in 2013, with a big SUV based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee that is expected in 2014. Last year, the merged Fiat with Chrysler, owned by Jeep.

New C-SUV will go to production in 2012 and shares the same platform as the new replacement for the Jeep Compass and Patriot. Fiat’s Global Compact Plus modular architecture provides the basis for the Fiat car and hope it makes the C-dynamic SUV in its class. The new SUV will take inspiration from the most popular brands and models of Mito, Giulietta. The new SUV is offered in front-and four-wheel drive and take advantage of Fiat’s Multiair 2 technology.
