Prius C Concept performs at Detroit show
Special news for the Toyota car fans about what Japanese automaker informed us for Prius C Type. The production version of the Prius C will be smaller, more affordable and with even greater fuel efficiency than the regular Prius. As the Toyota’s claims where the Prius C will deliver the highest mpg of any available hybrid model without a plug in North America.
The world premiere of Prius C Concept performs at Detroit show along with the new Prius V Minivan. Carscoop blog says “The Prius c Concept, with c representing a “city”-centric vehicle, will appeal to young singles and couples who want an eco-sensitive, high-mileage, fun-to-drive Prius,” Toyota said in a statement.
The Toyota Prius C is called Aqua Toyota in Japan, is a full gasoline-electric hybrid hatchback subcompact produced by Toyota Motor Corporation. Toyota said the “c” refers to water city.The Prius was released in Japan in December 2011 at a price of 1.69 million yen (U.S. $ 21,700). The Prius c is scheduled to be released in Australia in the first quarter of 2012, and in the U.S. in March 2012, with prices starting below U.S. $ 19.000.
