The MINI Cooper provides the driving enthusiast with a combination of fun-to-drive performance, engineering and unconventional attitude.

The MINIcoupe, hatchback and convertible Coopers feature a 121-hp 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission or optional six-speed automatic. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, traction and stability control and anti-lock brakes. The convertible Cooper features head/thorax side airbags and an active rollover bar. A wide variety of interior trim materials and colors are available. Features such as bi-xenon headlights, sport suspension, Dynamic Traction Control, power panoramic sunroof (hatch only), navigation system, parking sensors, and Bluetooth are available. Both satellite and HD radio are standard equipment.

For 2012, some new colors have been added and a new MINI Yours exclusive options program has been introduced. The big news for 2012 is the addition of the new two-seat Coupe model to the line-up.

The Mini Cooper line is nimble, visually unique, and in Cooper S trim, quite fast. There is plenty of room for the passengers in front, and belts for four passengers in all models, though the Clubman is the better choice if the rear seat will be used with any regularity. Prices range from just under $20,000 for a basic hatchback to more than $40,000 for a loaded convertible. Any way you choose, the Mini provides as much style and sheer fun as any small car extant, and even more personalization options.
