Fiat unveils 500 Cabrio for U.S. New Car 2011
Fiat unveils 500 Cabrio for U.S. New Car 2011 today unveiled a $19,500 U.S.-spec version of its 500 convertible that it says will be the least expensive four-seat ragtop for sale in America. While the 500 coupe is just into showrooms in numbers, Fiat U.S. head Laura Soave said the Cabrio version will be on sale this spring.

The 21st century version is power, however, and a nifty feature is that it puts itself up out of the way if you want to open the trunk hatch.

She said at the unveiling that the design also allows the Cabrio to boast the same interior room as the coupe.
