South Korea’s Hyundai goes Euro-Mystery Car 76, We were so taken with the designs out of the Geneva Motor Show last week that we had to go looking for something cool out of the show from past years. We thought we had found it with the Hyundai Euro 1. concept of 1998.
Reader ADK knew exactly what he was seeing so he jumped on it and got it right. Hmmm. Wonder if that lettering on the side of the car right behind the right front wheel saying “Euro 1″ could have helped. We saw those letters after we posted the photo and said to ourselves, “drat!”
It’s a fun concept but not our favorite from a design standpoint. That wood-like color and lack of front fenders and windshield make us think this was a blown-up version from some past winner of the Boy Scout’s Pinewood Derby.
